What happens is that if your Rhode Island Lottery Patriots Instant Ticket doesn’t win instantly, you must then enter the 13-digit serial number from the front of the ticket under the latex for a chance to score Patriots experiential prizes and $35,000. There are amazing prizes to be won including;

Each non-winning $5 Rhode Island Lottery Patriots Instant Ticket, Game #140, constitutes one 1 Second Chance Drawing entry. The ticket number to be entered is the 13 digit number found on the front of the ticket underneath the latex.
There is an entry cap of 500 entries per day per player. Each serial number may be entered only 1 time.
Only registered Rhode Island Lottery VIP’s are eligible to enter this promotion.  VIP registration is free.
Only entries submitted online are eligible to win.  No other method of entry will be accepted.
Players must retain their non-winning ticket entries as proof of eligibility and provide the original ticket to claim their prize should they be selected as a winner.
All entries in a drawing have an equal chance of winning a prize.
Odds of winning any prize in any Second Chance Drawing will vary depending upon the number of entries received for the drawing.
